What people are saying about the course…

Your postpartum anxiety or depression is more than just hormones….

Becoming a mom is a wonderful and awesome experience.

But it sure doesn’t always feel like it!

Sometimes, pregnancy is awful.

Sometimes, labor is the worst and perhaps somewhat traumatic.

Sometimes, breastfeeding is really hard.

Sometimes, you feel so judged about the decisions you make for your baby.

Sometimes, you feel downright dumb and stupid, like you have no idea what you are doing.

Sometimes, the baby won’t sleep!

Sometimes, you have to (gasp!) bottle feed your baby.

Sometimes, your marriage is different and you miss your old rhythm with your husband.

Sometimes, your doctor prescribes you antidepressants that you don’t feel comfortable taking.

Sometimes, you simply miss the life you had before motherhood….and then you feel bad about it.

Sometimes, you feel like you don’t even know yourself anymore.

What if you turned the overwhelm into opportunity?

An opportuntity to learn skills that are simple and effective and……100x easier than learning how to breastfeed.

Skills that will:

…keep you calm and give you confidence in a time when you need it most.

...save you from making rash decisions.

…allow you to tune into your maternal instinct.

…serve you for the rest of your motherhood.

…be able to be passed down to your children.

…help you grow in virtue and holiness.

This will also be an opportunity to…

…make peace with how your birth went.

…share your sufferings with other women.

… learn about other therapies and medications that can help during this time.

I can't recommend Talia highly enough!! The changes I've experienced internally and the life skills that I have gained through her coaching will serve me and my family for the rest of my life. Every area of my life that felt like a struggle now feels like an invitation to get curious, grow in virtue, and lean into prayer and peace.

Weekly Lesson Plans

“I was struggling with not feeling confident in my new role as a mother. I struggled to have a good connection with my baby daughter, because I was so wrapped up in my own anxious thoughts feeling like I was not giving her my best. This anxiety and insecurity led to depression which took an emotional toll on my husband …It was all quite overwhelming.

I felt very guilty and Talia helped me see my worth as a mother or my "performance" as a mother was rooted in Christ and not what I accomplished that day. She feels like a friend, but is more than that, because she is completely emotionally attuned to areas that are holding you back from living a lighthearted, joyful, and anxiety-free life.”

I’ve put in over 10 years of personal and academic experience into one simple course - just for you.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (type 2) when I entered the convent at the age of 24. Part of my discernment was that I didn’t think I would be stable enough to be a mother. Those 2.5 years became some of the most healing and formative years that ended up preparing me for my actual calling to marriage and physical motherhood.

Out of God’s great goodness - I learned to regulate my emotions and was able to drastically reduce the number of prescriptions I took (from 5 down to 1). My husband and I have now been blessed with 5 beautiful children. I’ve been able to breastfeed all of them because I was able to be on just the 1 medication. We even started homeschooling this past year - which was definitely something I never though possible! Motherhood has definitely been a surpise of joy - but with motherhood, I also learned that regulating my emotions was the best thing I could have ever learned to help me encounter that joy. Out of sheer gratitude and a passion to share what I had learned, I started coaching other women in 2020, and earned my Masters in Psychology in 2021 from Divine Mercy University.

I have now helped several women learn to manage their emotions and help them find a sense of stability and confidence. I want you to be next!

I can’t wait to serve you!

imagine being able to:

  • Make peace with how your birth went.

  • Set boundaries with others (including your children!) so that you can take care of yourself

  • Ask for help without feeling guilty

  • Be open to children without thinking “I can’t mentally handle it”

  • Stay stable and unshaken amidst all the info of “do this and not that” that can cause anxiety

  • Stop emotionally overeating, overspending, and overscrolling

emotional regulation is at the heart of all these situations

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, this is not therapy and I am not a licensed therapist. I have my Masters in Psychology and work as a coach. I have been trained in DSM-5 and will always refer students to a therapist for additional help if I think it warrants it.

  • I suggest 10 minutes for watching/listening to the video and doing the accompanying journaling.

Weekly group coaching calls will be for one hour each week. I highly recommend participating as students continue to say it is the best part of the program.

  • I can tell you that I’ve been on Zoloft for almost 6 years through 3 pregnancies and while breastfeeding for at least a year with 4 babies. It works for me.

But it doesn’t work for everyone. And it is most certainly not the all encompassing cure for PPA /PPD.

Many times students are also wary of taking antidepressants and reasonably so. Unfortunately, it is often the only resource given to moms with PPA or PPD. Studies continue to show that changing your thoughts changes your brain chemistry - much like how SSRIs work.

  • Yes! Yes, I do. My Masters in Psychology program was through Divine Mercy University which teaches psychology through the Catholic Christian perspective of the human person.

Everything I teach is in line with the Catholic faith.

  • First of all, if you are thinking of hurting yourself or another family member please seek help right away. Text or call 988.

I know that everything seems dark right now and it downright sucks.

But your strong desire to get better can go a long way.

In the coaching sessions, you will verbalize things that as you share them, you will have a more heightened sense of awareness than you did when those thoughts where just swirling around in your brain.

I cannot guarantee anything, because you are the one who will be going through the program and you will get out of it what you put into it.

But I can promise you there is hope. And that I will be there to help you along the way.

Learning to regulate your emotions is a key skill in navigating the inevitable chaos of family life - no matter how many children you have. You can easily become so overwhelmed by it all (the meltdowns! the messes! the sleepness nights!) that you become chronically grumpy, reactive and seeking escape in any form.

Or you can roll up your sleeves, learn to regulate your own emotions and how to process the feeling of overwhelm (and all those other feelings) so you can make good decisions, focus on true and good thoughts, and ultimately be the confident and calm mother you want to be.

Heck, you might even want to have more children once you realize how good it can be.
